JCAP Program

COVID:  Students will be in close contact with cadets during the visit.  Students will stay overnight in a dorm room with 2 cadets where social distancing is not possible.  The wearing of masks is encouraged but not required. 

The Junior Cadet Accessions Program (JCAP) offers high school juniors and seniors students, who are currently in a Junior ROTC, Civil Air Patrol, Young Marines or Sea Cadets program, a first-hand experience with the Corps of Cadets. While at JCAP, cadets will:

• Meet current cadets and learn about their experiences in the Corps
• Stay in the Corps dorms on campus and meet JROTC/CAP/Young Marine/Sea Cadets in the Corps and from other high schools
• Learn about the university admissions process, financial aid, scholarships and academic support
• Train with our national drill champions, the Fish Drill Team in the fall and watch their performance in the spring.
• Attend the Commandants motivational presentation
• Attend the Aggie Men's Basketball game
• Receive a JCAP T-Shirt and military Challenge Coin !
