Each cadet must complete these following steps to finish the process of joining the Corps of Cadets.

Review the Corps calendar for Fall Events

    Step 1:

    Complete the appropriate ROTC Forms.

All incoming cadets must complete the appropriate ROTC paperwork based on the ROTC class you are enrolled in. Completing the ROTC paperwork is required to participate in ROTC and may qualify cadets for Corps uniform cost reimbursement.

NOTE: Incoming freshman cadets must take an ROTC class. There is no military commitment associated with taking these classes. CLICK on the ROTC below to access your paperwork.

*Please direct questions about ROTC to the Texas A&M Staff below:

    Army ROTC: Mr. Manning; dmanning@corps.tamu.edu – 979.845.2814
    Navy ROTC:  LT Trevino; ttrevino@navy.tamu.edu  – 979.845.1775
Marine Corps ROTC: LT Trevino; ttrevino@navy.tamu.edu   – 979.845.1775
    Air Force ROTC    det805-recruiting@corps.tamu.edu  – 979.845.7611

    Step 2:

Go to Incoming Cadet Page  and review and complete the Important Forms & Documents ASAP. The FAQ section will help address concerns and questions prior to your NSC.

    • Download and complete the Corps Medical/Psychological Release Form by August 1,2024

    Step 3:

Apply for Corps Housing (If not already completed)

Cadets must live on campus in Corps housing.  If you have not yet applied for Corps Housing, please complete Phase 1 of the housing application at reslife.tamu.edu

If you applied for on campus housing but not Corps housing, please contact ResLife at 979.845.3443 or housing@tamu.edu with your name and UIN to request the change.

It is your responsibility to read & understand the Housing Contract.

If you quit the Corps, it does not cancel your housing contract obligations.

    Step 4:

Day 1 of your NSC you will eat a mandatory lunch with us and receive a Corps briefing. Then during the optional breakout sessions you will have another opportunity to meet with us in the Sanders Corps of Cadet Center between 3:00pm until 4:30pm.
