    This form is intended for teachers, counselors, advisors, and other education-interest professionals inquiring about scheduling a group campus visit at Texas A&M University Galveston Campus. 

    Completing this form does not constitute a reservation and does not guarantee availability of dates and times. 

    After submitting this inquiry form, you will receive an automated confirmation email. The Campus Visits Team will review the request and reach out in 2-3 business days. If you have any questions regarding this form or visiting the Galveston Campus, please email tours@tamug.edu. 

    Group campus visit availability is on Tuesdays and Thursdays with options for times of 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. If groups plan to eat in the campus dining hall, please indicate so on the request form. Dining on campus is not included in the two hour tour. 

     



    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    Please review the important information below thoroughly and completely. 

    • With few exceptions, all group campus visits must be approved by and scheduled through the Campus Visits Team. 
    • Group campus visits can only be scheduled for days/times during University business hours of operation (Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM)
      • Group campus visits cannot be accommodated:
        • On days/times when the University is closed (i.e, before/after business hours of operation; weekends, University holidays, etc.)
        • During the first week of classes (add/drop week) of the semester;
        • When the University is hosting/sponsoring large events (including but not limited to New Student Conferences, Family Weekend, and commencement ceremonies);
        • During the week of final examinations
    • We require one chaperone for every 10 prospective students.
    • The Maximum permitted group size is 110 (100 prospective students plus 10 chaperones)
      • We reserve the right to break the group down into smaller groups depending on the classroom being utilized
    • A group campus visit lasts two (2) hours
      • The first 30 minutes is a presentation on the history of our campus, our academic programs, and admissions information
      • The remaining time is a walking tour of the campus
        • Chaperones will have an active role in the management of the group
        • There will be certain areas during the walking tour that cannot accommodate large groups at one time due to limited space
        • There will also be areas (residence halls, campus recreation facility, and labs) that will not be available for viewing due to privacy and safety concerns.
