FAMILY CAMPUS VISITS

GENERAL INFORMATION

A family campus visit is approximately 2 hours long with the general schedule as follows:

· Texas A&M University at Galveston Admissions Presentation (40 minutes)

        o The admissions presentation includes general information majors offered, co-curricular resources, campus life, student support services, and admissions information.

· Walking Tour (1 hour)

      o The walking tour is designed to showcase specific areas of interest including academic buildings (e.g., classroom, lecture hall), gathering spaces, student support areas, campus dining, campus recreation, and residence halls.

A family campus visit does not include visits to specific academic departments.

 · If you would like to visit an academic advisor for the department you are interested in, you must schedule a separate appointment with the academic department.
          o Please visit the Academic Departments page for contact information for the academic department of interest.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR A FAMILY CAMPUS VISIT

1. Use the calendar below to select the available family campus visit date.

2. After you select a date, text will appear to the right showing “Family Campus Visit” and the date and time of your selection. Click on the link for “Family Campus Visit”.

3. When the page updates, review the information, and complete the form.

4. Upon submitting your registration, you will receive two emails. One email will include general information about family campus visits and the second will be your confirmation email. Make sure you check your spam/junk folder for either message.
