Texas A&M University at Galveston Maritime Academy Tour

GENERAL INFORMATION

A Training Ship Tour is approximately 1-1.5  hours long with the general schedule as follows:

• Texas A&M Maritime Academy Greeting
• Walking to Training Ship Pier
• Tour of training ship

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The check-in is in the Aggie Special Events Center which is Building 3035 on the campus map. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. 

In compliance with regulations, all guests boarding the ship are required to wear flat, closed-toe shoes - no high heels. In addition, no skirts or dresses, please. Due to safety protocols, visitors must be 5 years of age or older, ambulatory and able to climb several flights of stairs.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE

• Check the weather for the Galveston area prior to your arrival.
• Hurricane season for our area is from June to November 1.
• It is recommended that visitors wear a hat or head covering and sunscreen, when visiting during summer or fall.
